CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE OF ROADS OR IN BUILDING OPERATION-
The Governor of Goa vide notification 8/3/2020-LA dated 26th June 2020 has promulgated The Industrial Disputes (Goa Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 amending The Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. As per the ordinance the time limit for submission of the application to labor court or Tribunal, in case of dismissal of an individual workman which may be deemed to be an industrial dispute, has been reduced from three years to one year from the date of dismissal, retrenchment, discharge or termination of service as per provisions of the Act.

Maharashtra Govt has issued Exemption from Sec 51,52,54 & 56 of Factories Act in Maharashtra permitting 12 hrs shift till 30th June.
However, OT wages at double rate must be paid for such extra duty hours.
This is applicable to factories registered under factory Act 1948 only.
